Capitola

Chris and I went to Capitola this past weekend and there happened to be an old car show going on in town. It was a beautiful and relaxing day. Definitely would love to go to the beach more often.

quick baby update

It's been awhile since I've done a baby update.

Just within the last 2 weeks my belly has popped out a lot! I will be 6 months along this coming Saturday. I've been feeling pretty good, but my ribs have been hurting more as well as feeling lots of stretching in my abdomen. Baby kicks a lot now--I think he'll be an active one!

Not much new as of updates though. We're pretty sure on a name for baby, but we won't announce that here until later ;)

Camping at Big Basin State Park

Chris and I went camping at Big Basin over the weekend with my brother Aaron, Adam and Aki.

Bangkok, Thailand

Chris had been on a LONG business trip and his trip was going to be extended another week. We decided for me to fly out and stay with him during his last week. So I flew out to Thailand :) It was a long flight but definitely worth it. He was gone a whole month away from home!

baby update

I am 18 weeks along in my pregnancy! I had a sonogram a couple days ago and baby was moving around quite a bit and looks to be right on schedule for 18 weeks. He is actually around 8 inches long from feet to head. Eight inches looks really long to me when looking at a ruler! It's hard to believe the baby will be around 20 inches long when born.

I definitely have a small baby bump and it seems to be growing pretty quickly. Right now it feels like the baby's feet are positioned near my left ribs and his head is down by my right hip bone (what I've noticed lately is his preferred position to be in). I can feel him moving around or kicking quite often. His kicking is not hard enough to keep me up at night (at least not yet), but it lets me know he's there and moving around. It's exciting! :)

It's a baby BOY!! =)

Chris and I went in for a 3d/4d sonogram on Friday and got to see our baby and find out that we are having a boy! We are super excited, and can't wait to see baby in September.
